Anais Nin wrote, " ..the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom."

At the time I first read this quote from Anais Nin, I didn't know I was autistic and ADHD (or as we say in Access Consciousness, an "X-men" as a reference to superpowers often hidden by alter-egos in order to pass in the mainstream world). What I did recognize is that the pain Nin references is the burden of a mask worn to be accepted, and the blossom is the sweet possibility of showing up fully and joyfully in our lives.

What about you?
Maybe you're thoughtful. You care deeply. You notice everything. So aware. Maybe you're autistic, ADHD, highly sensitive, or simply someone who's always experienced the world a little more intensely? And you know the weight and pain of the mask, and you long for the possibility of something different...

Now you're pregnant, preparing to become a parent, and instead of feeling excited, you're wondering why everything feels so much harder than it seems to for everyone else.

Guess what? What if there's nothing wrong with you? You don't need someone to "fix" you - you're not broken. Your sensitivity isn't a weakness. Your difference is your magic.

Being pregnant, sensitive, and highly aware can be a lot, but guess what else? You, all of you, not a mask or an imitation or a fantasy "perfect" version of you, are exactly the gift your baby is asking for. You and your baby deserve whatever support is required so you can show up fully and authentically for yourself and as a role model for your unique, magical child.

Grounded in Access Consciousness and 28+ years of experience, my work blends nervous system regulation, powerful questions, body awareness, and practical tools to help you move from burnout, masking, and self-doubt toward a confident, calmer experience of pregnancy and early parenthood.

A little more about me:

I've been a Craniosacral Therapist since 2009, an Access Consciousness® Facilitator since 2014, and a changer of realities my whole life. Becoming the mother of two giant beings in little bodies inspired me to create The Calmer Mom Project, in which I use bodywork, energy therapy, coaching, questions and magic to help highly sensitive women navigating their pregnancies to trade perfectionism and anxiety for joy and peace of mind. I enjoy speaking engagements, playing on podcasts, am a best-selling author. I'm also a singer, relentless possibility seeker, swear like a sailor, and love cats, coffee, dark chocolate, my husband, and my kids (in no particular order!).

I use to think I had to get life "right"...but what if getting it "right" is just a throw-away tool? What if it all starts with joy? And how did I get so lucky to share this gift with others so they might BE who they BE, and I get to witness and support them as they, at last, do blossom!

How does it get any better than that?!
